The Japanese term "taitoku" (体得) translates to "learning or remembering with the body" or "embodiment through physical practice." It refers to the concept of acquiring knowledge, skill, or understanding through repeated physical action, where the body internalizes the technique or movement until it becomes instinctive.

Judo

Jiujitsu

Karate

Strike, Cover and move with purpose in our  Karate program. Combining sharp hand techniques, powerful kicks, and punches, students cultivate speed, precision, and inner strength. More than self-defense, Karate at Dojo Ochiba builds character, focus, and perseverance—empowering practitioners to face challenges with calm, courage, and control..

Foundational movement

Start strong with the essentials. This one-hour introductory class guides 4- to 6-year-olds through age-appropriate drills in balance, coordination, and body awareness—laying the groundwork for Judo, Jiujitsu, and Karate. No belts, no pressure, just focused fun that builds posture, listening skills, and confidence from the very first bow. Perfect for curious beginners ready to move with purpose.

Rolling within the spectrum

Rolling Within the Spectrum is a tailored martial arts class designed to inspire and empower children with special needs. Held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., this one-hour session welcomes young learners into a supportive environment.

Through adapted Judo, Jiujitsu, and Karate techniques, the program nurtures physical strength, sharpens focus, and fosters emotional resilience. Students build social skills, grow in confidence, and discover new possibilities—stepping beyond boundaries with every roll, stance, and smile.
